This past weekend was spent in Cashiers, NC visiting my Dad. Cashiers is in the Blue Ridge Mountains, between Brevard and The Highlands. Every time we go up there, I am the utmost relaxed. The cooler weather was a welcome treat from the 90+ Charlotte temps. The area gets a lot of rain, and so it makes for excellent sleeping weather and lots of comfort food. We slept in, boated, ate and sat by the fire (YES! We had a fire going on Saturday evening. Can you believe it?). Here is our weekend on Instagram
